OzComics was a website and forums set up by Darren Close. While the website was originally aimed at Australian readers of mainstream US comics, the community changed over time and OzComics became a major social hub for Australian comics.

The OzComics community supported several successful initiatives including Australia's first 24-hour comics event, a comics magazine and the charity book Operation Funnybone

The website and forums were shut down in 2005. OzComics was later handed to Gestalt Publishing, who featured tutorials and interviews related to the Australian comics scene on the site.

The website is now defunct, but a community continues to exist around the regular drawing challenges held on the Facebook page.
